But aside from his fans, the wife and manager of Valenciano, Angeli Pangelinan was also one of the reasons for his achievements which the veteran singer expressed her gratitude towards her by an Instagram post as a part of the celebration of their 35 years anniversary as a husband and wife.

Valenciano expressed on his post the love story of him and Pangilinan which includes the 6 years age gap of their age and also the difficulties and hardships that they faced for more than three years together.
Valenciano started his post which gained around 18,600 likes,
“She was 25 and I was 19. Yes, yes, yes… I know our story is good enough to be made into a movie. But I’m here to say that this wouldn’t have lasted this long without the grace and mercy of almighty God to see us through.”
Valenciano also shared that in spite of his in imperfection, and even his wife, they still continue to understand and love each other that's why it was granted a stronger and fruitful marriage.

Mr. Pure Energy said,
“We’ve been through the most challenging of times and thankfully we’ve come out of them only as people who wanted to become better and not bitter. No, she isn’t perfect but I’m far more imperfect than she is and yet she loves me just the same and I’m truly thankful for this.”
He also said that the maturity of them being together did not happen easily because they were only young when they started to form a family, but because of their faith in God, they able to overcome the trials and remain stronger together.
“None of this developed overnight but over time… In fact, we still do at times but I believe it’s part of the dynamics of any relationship and it also brings us to realize the need of having God in the center of our union.”
Valenciano also advised those couples out there to continue understanding their partners because they are one of the keys to a successful marriage.
The occasion was very special to Valenciano because he faces some problems in health which he overcomes.
